Rising sea levels, widespread droughts, and rapidly disappearing glaciers are already threatening millions with loss of water, food, and even life. In the last decade, we’ve witnessed an increase in the severity of natural disasters such as killer heat waves and powerful hurricanes that harm citizens of the world that God so loves. Still, many of us Christians continued to argue over whether climate change was really happening.
Over the last few years, however, the tide has begun to turn. Overwhelming evidence, from the melting poles to the warming tropical oceans, demonstrates the effects our actions are having on the world. Now, for many Christians, the question is not whether climate change is real, but rather: What is happening? How can we do anything about it? And why should we?
